Experiment the Resin 1
1. Instructions,what is resin Resins
Resins are divided into two types, one is synthetic plastic resin, and the other is natural resin.Synthetic resin: It is a material that is very similar to natural resin - it is also a viscous liquid that can harden. Synthetic resins are more common, and synthetic resins are a type of synthetic high molecular weight polymer. The main semi-solid state has a certain degree of fluidity. The most critical application of synthetic resins is the production of plastics. To facilitate processing and improve performance, often add additives, and sometimes directly used for forming, it is often synonymous with plastic. Synthetic resin industrial products can be divided into the general resin and special resin. General purpose resin has large output and low cost. It is used for general consumer products or durable goods. The particular resin refers to the resin produced for particular purposes. The output is small, and the production cost is high. For example, the substituted metal can be used for machinery, electronics, automobiles, etc. Departments, engineering plastics belong to the category of special resins.
Natural resins:
Natural resins, mostly collected from plants. The resin is a kind of protector for trees, protecting the principle of plants and pests. Amorphous semi-solid or stable organic matter. Features are soft when heated, tend to flow under stress, generally insoluble in water. Natural resins are mainly used as coatings and can also be used in the production of paper-making, insulating materials, adhesives, pharmaceuticals, spices, etc.; some can be used as raw materials for decorative arts and crafts (such as amber).
2.Instructions:
In fact, the method of use is different for different resins. The most common of ours is the need to mix the resins used in the curing agent in proportion. The A agent + B agent can be used with sufficient stirring (A:B=2:1), but some of them are used in a 3:1 mixture. Versatility can fill more massive gaps, suitable for large-scale use.
The other is my favorite, UV light curing the resin. It is much more convenient to use than mixed resin. The time consumed is also concise, and the UV lamp can completely cure it for 3-6 minutes. High hardness after post-curing, simple construction, and economic benefits. UV-irradiated glue can be reused.
3.Advantages and disadvantages - Precautions:
Both of these resins have disadvantages and advantages. For example, AB mixed rubber. Need to master the proportion and dosage. Otherwise, it is very easy to waste. If the ratio is wrong, it will be very soft, and there is no way to use it. But because the glue solidifies for a long time. The solidification time can be used to continue to increase the adjustment in the mold. UV adhesives are much faster than previously used resins. Don't wait too long.
But no matter what kind of glue, the smell will be larger.
1. It is best to use glue in knit or rubber gloves to avoid accidental soiling.
2. When the skin is in contact with soap, it can be cleaned. It will not injure the hands. If the eyes do not come into contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water immediately. If serious, consult a doctor.
3. Workplaces should be ventilated and smoke-free when used in large quantities.
4. When there is a lot of leakages, first open the window for ventilation, and pay attention to the pyrotechnics, and then cover with sand and then clear it.
