Inspiration :LACE
Lace, a kind of fabric, is a kind of textile characterized by complicated hollow patterns. Lace-style fabrics are of old origin, but true lace knowing didn't really emerge until the end of the 15th century, and it was first used to decorate church altars. In the late 15th century to the early 16th century, Italy produced a large number of laces to decorate clothing, but at the time it was still a privileged class that could only be worn by priests, nobles, and nobles. Under the influence of the Rococo style, which is highly sought-after and carefully designed, both the technical aspect and the style have entered the peak period.
The origin of lace style fabrics is ancient. At different times, different types of lace fabrics have various meanings. For example, in Gothic clothing, lace-like textiles that were not exposed (thin nylon or fishnet-like fabrics) were widely used. At that time, lace was given a dark, mysterious symbol.
Later, real lace did not indeed emerge until the end of the 15th century. In the 18th century, the Queen of European salons, the mistress of Louis XV, Ms. Pompadour first carried forward the lace, making it a feminine, gentle, gorgeous, elegant dress symbol. In the nineteenth century neo-classical and romantic dress, lace is different from the complex and exquisite Rococo era, becoming a symbol of ideals and romance. At various stages after the 20th century, the application of lace gradually became widespread. Aside from the tablecloths, sheets, and curtains, I don’t think that, but on the level of clothes, I feel that lace is mostly sexy because:
1. Many designers choose lace for their production materials. For example underwear, nightdress, suspenders stockings.
2. It is because of transparent lace or translucent lace. Triggering our reverie is easy.
So I think lace does not mean sexy. Think of lace sexy, it's just our subjective fantasy. We always believe that lace represents the delicate character of women. It was also influenced by the Rococo era of art. It is a female age that is filled with a flexible culture. But I think that lace can also be considered a representative of women's self-confidence. Women not only have a soft outside but also have a strong heart. I want to use metal to show the hard feeling of lace.
