Making
After six months of study, it is time for us to show our learning results. Show our design for six months. The school organized an open day. Our students need to create a poster to show the best works of our series of designs. It is not just a photo but an imagination. Can include text, patterns. Not only must the content be costly, but it must be noticeable. It is best to see at a glance. Because this poster needs to be placed on the canvas, it can add a lot of decoration. But still, need to meet the design theme of decoration. Of course, it can also be added directly to the canvas. For example, the fashion design department can add cloth accessories to the finished canvas.
When I was making a poster, I chose a 3D print pieces that I designed for half a year. More representative. Photos also find photos taken by the photographer, is also looking for professional models.
Poster making:
I have tried many different, different styles of design, both simple and complex. Also, refer to many designs. Based on the photos I chose, I determined the style of some subjects. Also determined the main color. Before, the teacher also gave us many suggestions. For example, use image overlays. Add a lot of extra backgrounds. Add lines and cut the picture. Use posters to show what you want to express.
For example, just like the drafts I made. There are different backgrounds. Different shades. Additional lines or color blocks are added to help enhance visual effects. What I want to express is a sense of science and technology. But still keep it simple. According to the original picture of this series, there are geometric curves. Dark color. Make related adjustments.
Event preparation
When our posters are printed well after. All posters are printed using printing techniques on canvas. Then re-bind it on the painting frame. During the production, it is necessary to flow out some binding positions deliberately. Easy to cut. Also, I think it should continue to add some decoration to the poster. I plan to add glue gun on top of the poster also lines as an embellishment.
Open Days
The "Campus Open Day," as the name suggests, is the day the school is open to the outside world. The opening day of a typical university’s campus is the day when it comes to recruiting students and showing them to the public. Can introduce school-owned teaching projects. For example, fashion design, product design, interior design, and jewelry design are all teaching items. There is also some external equipment that can be used in schools. Students who come to participate in this open day can personally experience handmade jewelry. Of course, the production steps are also relatively simple. There are also some similar uses, the petal drawing fashion design. Also, the school also uses VR technology, so that visitors can learn more about each model.
