Color story
Color is the element of art that is produced when light, striking an object, is reflected back to the eye. Colors describe this world to us through human vision. Each different color can bring a lot of different feelings. Every color has an emotion. Each color will cause different viewers different unique response. A clever designer will use the color to express a different effect. For example, red is positive, and green represents nature and stability.
In my collection, I want to express a modern feeling. This whole series is inspired by. Costume designer Iris Van Herpen. Her design style is very contemporary; there is a sense of science fiction. She wants to send one. Fashion is an art expression, and fashion is the art of show and dress. I try to analyze a lot of her designs, most of the colors are very metallic. More cool tone, solid color. There are a lot of black and white contrast color.
And I used the WGSN provided by the school to check out some of the colors that are popular in the future. In many shows, other brands also make use of these colors, sand surface metal color, is a very low-key color, do not want smooth golden too Too high profile. But I want to blend in with a feeling of the future. So I chose to use silver as a transitional color so that the whole is not too monotonous.
